Who What Why etc

I suppose there should be an (e)mission statement of some kind.

This is going to be a clearing house for comments upon the slow-motion car wreck that is this species' response to climate change. There's a bunch of us that meet for a meal every so often in London. We've various credentials and experience in climate science, policy wonkery, journalism, activism etc. Some of us can write posts, others- for reasons too tedious to mention- can't. But we all read too much (and do too little) and we're just going to share our reading and our thoughts on a) what the British Government is(n't) doing,
b) on the science and its "unpleasant surprises"
c) on anything else that takes our fancy...
